Uses Atopica Oral Solution is a veterinary use only medication that contains 100mg/ml of cyclosporine as the active ingredient. This medication is a non-steroidal immunosuppressant indicated for the treatment of feline allergic dermatitis as exhibit as broken skin (including facial and neck), military dermatitis, eosinophilic plaques, and self-induced alopecia in cats of at least of 6 months of age and weighing at least 3 pounds. Cautions Atopica Oral Solution is contraindicated for use in cats with a history of malignancy, or hypersensitivity to cyclosporine. Keep out of reach of children. Do not rinse or clean the oral dispensing syringe between uses. How to use For oral use in cats only. Atopica Oral Solution should be administered directly on a small amount of food or orally just after feeding. Possible side effects Vomiting, soft stool, diarrhea, loss of appetite are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
