Uses Clomicalm Tablets contains clomipramine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. Clomicalm is used to treat and help control separation anxiety in dogs. This medication is used as part of a behaviour modification program to alleviate inappropriate barking, destructive behaviour or inappropriate elimination. Cautions Clomicalm Tablets is contraindicated in animals with a history of an allergic reaction to clomipramine. Keep out of reach of children. Clomicalm should not be used in dogs with a history of seizures. How to use Clomicalm Tablets is for oral use in dogs only. Administer this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer’s packaging. Possible side effects Dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, weakness are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
