For the first five days, the area should be cooled and as little as possible. Directions 1. Completely undo the two Velcro straps on the splint before inserting the dog’s leg. // 2. Show the splint very carefully. Once positioned, lift the brace by adjusting it firmly to the thigh. // 3. Wrap the straps around the waist and adjust the velcro to secure the orthotic. Also adjust the lower strap. // 4. Introduce it gradually and check the splint regularly for friction. Remove when resting.
